The department of insurance has mandated insurers to rebate premiums or give discounts to assist with insurance costs during these difficult times. You should be receiving a 15% credit for the months of April and May 2020. These credits may be extended to future months, depending on the control of the outbreak. If you are paid in full for the term of your policy, you should be receiving a check in the mail. If you are paying monthly or are on auto deduct, you should be seeing the adjustment in your May 2020 bill. You are welcome to call us to discuss.
If you've experienced loss of group health insurance benefits and/or job loss/reduction in income, help may be available. Covered CA has reopened the open enrollment until 06/30/2020. Call now to enroll for coverage or to adjust income for more assistance. |
